  1. What are we all about?

RAZOR REEL is a look into the wierd and wonderful world of exploitation movies and television shows.
Be amazed when we look at that early Sci-fi stuff and juvenile delinquent movies of the forties. Find out all on the gore and creepy horror movies of the sixties. Read about the nasty sexploitation and pre-adult movies of the seventies.
RAZOR REEL will inform you on new releases (on video and DVD), bring you info on people like Sam Katzman, James Dean, Ray HarryHausen and Russ Meyer.
RAZOR REEL will serve you fresh and up-to-date news, big articles on Pop movies, and special features about forgotten television series, Hammerhouse, cheesy serials, extraordinary movies...

  2. Why is everything in English & can I find a Dutch translation?

RAZOR REEL is without doubt a Flemish based society, but you won’t find much Dutch or Flemish on our site. The main reason why we started in English was to bring together as much cult fans as possible. By doing so in English we could easily inform people from the US about European items and we could communicate with distributors, filmmakers and other people in the business in the States. Above all and most importantly we could unite people from all over Europe because most of them do have some knowledge of the English language.
Even in our own country with 3 official languages, it has proven to be a big advantage to choose the English language.

  3. Are you guys affiliated with any Film Festival?

Razor Reel is indeed working on a filmfestival for november 2008. More info will be added on our Film Festival Site soon.

  4. Can I submit a text, idea or an article?

Hell sure you can. But remember we don’t pay for those words you are writing down. However once in a while we sent out stuff (like DVD’s) to reward people who do something special for us, so don’t hesitate and start writing about you favourite actress, movie or soundtrack and mail them to us.

  5. Why do I see articles on games, books, cartoons or children's movies on RAZOR REEL,
I thought Razor Reel is a cult / Horror site.?

You're absolutely right when you think RAZOR REEL is a Cult / Horror site but Razor Reel is much more. Razor Reel is about Fantastic Movies and Cult TV and all related items and media. Many movies and cartoons from our childhood years are today 100% Cult and really deserved some attention. Film and TV is and will always be our biggest interest, but all related media like books, games, toys,…. Can have a place on Razor Reel. As long as it is film connected!
After all we are grown up kids who need a sick excuse to watch cartoons once in a while !

  6. I see a lot of unknown stuff on RAZOR REEL, from all over the world, how come?

See, that is where we try to make a difference! RAZOR REEL loves to include those bizarre, lesser known features. We love to "promote" unknown movies so that more people learn about them and more people can enjoy them. This doesn't mean we don't do articles on blockbuster movies, but in general we try to uncover the unknown.

Today with the Internet, everyone can buy a film or a TV series from overseas, and now with some RAZOR REEL help, you get to know what is out there.

  7. Is RAZOR REEL working for other companies?
Do you work freelance for other people?
Can we ask Razor Reel to promote something or organise an online contest?

Sure we do work for other companies or other people once in a while. We can do small promotional direct mailings or write articles on films. We can organise on line events like a contest to help you to promote a movie or attend and report nearby festivals! (see also Advertising on RAZOR REEL)

  8. Tell me more about prize draws, competitions, free stuff.

When entering in one of competitions, prize draws or applying for free stuff your email address is automatically entered in our database. This gives you the opportunity to receive advance warnings about new competitions.
If for some reason you don't want to receive these mails, you can simple unsubscribe by sending an email!

  9. Can I advertise on RAZOR REEL?

RAZOR REEL is a fast growing non-profit organisation with lots of visitors! Therefore short-term advertising is definitely worthwhile on Razor Reel. We have a complete list of advertising possibilities (banners, newsletter advertising, press releases) available.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you're a European based company. For US & Canadian companies please contact Our US sales representative Gorilla Nation!
Razor Reel is represented by Gorilla Nation. Please contact Gorilla Nation for ad rates, packages and general advertising information.

  10. What about printed material, magazines, leaflets?

On this very moment, our core team is not working on such a project. Some of us are however writing for magazines, while others are woking on a book, however while everything is movie related, this has nothing to do with Razor Reel.
